چکیده
Escherichia coli is a pathogen associated with infections in piglets the post-weaning phase, its pathogenicity related to animal's susceptibility bacterial enterotoxins. The objective of present study was determine EOs activity against E. strain, form planktonic and sessile. Although Disc-Diffusion tests Minimum Inhibitory Concentration, do not fully corroborate other analyzes this study, it noticed bacteria inhibition. were prepared at 0.4%, 0.8% 1.0% for tests. tested effective cells (p<0.05). As sessile cells, most significant result inhibition 100% concentration Cymbopogon citratus EO. there resistance some treatments, demonstrated capacity, constituting promising alternatives control coli, especially cells.

Essential Oils Nanoemulsions: Preparation, Characterization and Study of Antibacterial Activity against Escherichia Coli
This research studies the application of essential oil nanoemulsion as herbal medicine instead of using antibiotics and chemicals. Thyme, shirazi thyme and rosemary essential oils were selected as herbal drugs. Essential oil nanoemulsions with Tween 80 and/or Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) surfactants were prepared and investigated. Physicochemical characterizations such as hydrodynamic di...
متن کاملAntibacterial and Antioxidant Potential of Essential Oils of Five Spices
Background: Essential Oils (EOs) of spices may serve as a potential source of antibacterial and antioxidant agents due to the presence of a diverse group of phytochemicals. In the present investigation, an attempt has been made to seek EOs from five commonly used spices that have both strong antibacterial and antioxidant potential to shed some light on these important aspects. Methods: In vitr...
